What materials are used for cake toppers?
Our cake toppers are made using a range of high quality materials including 200+ gsm card, matte photo paper and acrylic cake sticks which are food safe.
What can you put on the topper?
We can customise cake toppers to include almost anything and everything. From cartoons and shapes to personalised images and names, the sky is the limit.
Do you make edible cake toppers?
Edible cake toppers are made from wafer using specific printing equipment. At Gold Coast Cake Toppers, we hope to offer this in the future but currently do not make edible cake toppers.
Are cake toppers flammable?
YES! The materials utilised are flammable. DO NOT position cake or cupcake toppers in close proximity to lit candles.
How do I apply my cake topper?
Before applying your cake topper, it is reccomended to let the cake sit unrefrigerated for 5-10 minutes. To apply the cake topper to the cake, hold the topper at the base where it meets the acrylic and gently slide into desired position.
How do I store my cake topper?
All cake toppers come in a water resistant clear bag, which can be reused for cake topper storage. Alternatively you can store cake toppers in either clear document cases or add to a shadow box for an everlasting keepsake.
